My Tours of Verona

Verona — City of Love, Opera, and Wine (3 hours)

Verona is a city that stays with you. Here, between ancient arches, the aroma of coffee, and a glass of Amarone, the essence of Italy comes into focus — passionate, musical, and quietly beautiful.

Over three hours, we walk through Verona as a living whole — a city where antiquity, Gothic architecture, and the Renaissance have come together in a rare and balanced harmony.

  • Arena amphitheater — a monumental stage where opera has been performed under the open sky for more than two thousand years. Porta Borsari — ancient Roman gates that still mark the city’s historical threshold. Piazza delle Erbe та Piazza dei Signori — squares where old Verona once pulsed with life: spices in the air, richly colored façades, and the heraldry of noble families. Juliet's House — a place visited not only by romantics, but by those who believe in the enduring power of stories.  Piazza del Duomo – a quiet, contemplative corner within the city’s dense stone fabric.Ponte Pietra – the oldest bridge in Verona, linking opposite banks — and different layers — of time.
If you wish, the walk can include a visit to the Church of Sant’Anastasia or the Cathedral, as well as a climb to the panoramic viewpoint at Castel San Pietro, offering the finest views over the city and the Adige River.

for groups up to 5 people

Romeo and Juliet: Following the Lovers’ Footsteps (2-2.5 hours)

This walk invites you to see Verona through the story that made it immortal — not as a fairytale, but as a layered historical narrative.

We’ll explore who actually wrote the Italian novella that inspired Shakespeare, how Dante was connected to this story, who Luigi da Porto was, and why the real Juliet may have come from Friuli.

  • Our route follows the key places of “Shakespearean” Verona:Piazza delle Erbe – t the heart of the old town, where voices, aromas, and colors blend like a living stage set. Piazza dei Signori – a square watched over by Dante, who may have given the first impulse to the story of feuding families. Juliet's House – where legend became a tourist myth, yet still retains its magnetic pull.  Romeo's House – a restrained, almost closed façade, mirroring the family feud behind the tragedy. Church of San Fermo – one of Verona’s most beautiful churches, whose history echoes themes of sacrifice.  Juliet's Tomb – the final stop, where fiction and belief intertwine so closely that the boundary between them becomes blurred.

My Other Routes Through Northern Italy

Every Italian city has its own character, and each reveals itself in a different way.

Every Italian city has its own character, and each reveals itself in a different way.

Duomo Cathedral, Milan

Milan

The Duomo, The Last Supper, and the Navigli canals. Milan is a city of contrasts, where fashion exists side by side with Leonardo, and contemporary districts conceal quiet courtyards and the bohemian spirit of Brera.

Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, Italy

Lake Como

The Alps, villas with lavish gardens, Varenna, Bellagio, and views that inspired composers. Como is about tranquility, beauty, and the feeling you're in a movie about Italy.

Historic Porta San Giacomo gates

Bergamo

A medieval upper town, historic walls, and refined art collections.
Bergamo captivates with its quiet atmosphere, attention to detail, and understated elegance.
